agent.configure_kagi

agent.configure_kagi(settings)

Set the kagi_search policy (API key, size cap, timeout). The key may come from the environment, e.g. api_key = os.getenv('KAGI_API_KEY'). The last call wins.

Parameters

  • settings: {api_key: string?, max_bytes: number?, timeout_secs: number?}
    • api_key — The Kagi API key, from https://kagi.com/api/keys. A config that sources the key from the environment passes it explicitly, e.g. api_key = os.getenv('KAGI_API_KEY').
    • max_bytes — Maximum response size in bytes before a search is refused. Defaults to [KAGI_DEFAULT_MAX_BYTES].
    • timeout_secs — Default per-request timeout in seconds. Defaults to [KAGI_DEFAULT_TIMEOUT_SECS].
